Megan Topper, Head Coach
Megan Topper, Head Coach
Megan is a dedicated and accomplished former Division I athlete with a strong background in lacrosse. A 2013 graduate of Liberty High School, she was a two-sport athlete (soccer & lacrosse). During her senior year, she made a significant impact on the lacrosse field, finishing the season with 61 points—49 goals and 12 assists. Her performance earned her the title of Most Valuable Player for Liberty’s lacrosse team. She was also named to the First Team All-Conference and All-County, and was selected for the prestigious Carroll County All-Star Team. Megan went on to play Division I lacrosse at Old Dominion University, where she made a lasting mark in the program’s history. She finished her collegiate career 2nd in career assists (67) and tied for 10th in career goals (115). She graduated in 2017 with a major in Marketing and a minor in Business Analytics. Since graduation, she has continued her involvement in the sport she loves by mentoring and developing young athletes. Megan is entering her third year as the JV girls’ lacrosse co-head coach at Liberty High School. In addition to coaching, she serves as a Recruiting Coordinator for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
Haley Price, Head Coach
Haley Price, Head Coach
Haley is a 2013 graduate from Liberty high school where she was a three sport athlete. During her senior year she helped lead the team to a successful season as a captain and was selected to play in the Carroll County All Star game.
She went on to play Division II lacrosse at Shepherd University. While there she earned all freshman honors making the Division II Independent all freshman team. She went on to make the 2016 and 2017 Mountain East first team all conference and all tournament teams. Haley was a 2 time captain leading her team to conference championships in 2015 and 2016. She ended her senior year leading the team in goals and points.
After college she continued her education at Shenandoah University earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2017. Haley now works at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. In addition is currently coaching at Liberty High School just finishing her second season.
Amy Weinstein Flynn
Amy Weinstein Flynn
Coach Amy grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and attended W.T. Woodson High School, where she was inducted into the second-ever Athletic Hall of Fame class in 2014. She captained 4 different sports teams and earned a school-record 14 varsity letters in Lacrosse, Tennis, Track & Field, and Gymnastics. As a Senior, she led the W.T. Woodson Girls Lacrosse team to the first-ever Virginia High School League State Championship in the sport, earning 1st Team All-District, All-Region, Washington Post All-Met, and All-American honors along the way. She went on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a 4-year starter, senior captain, and selection to the US Lacrosse DI North/South Senior All-Star Team. She received a dual Masters in Business & Sports Administration from Ohio University, where she also served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for their (then) DI Women’s Lacrosse team.
She’s remained active in the sport both personally and professionally, having played for and coached numerous teams at many levels throughout the country (as well as Australia, Japan, and England), and most recently right here in Howard County at the rec level for HC Lax. She’s held sales and marketing roles for Major League Lacrosse, Millon Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse, Octagon, and IMG, and is currently the Director of Club Sports Fundraising Programs for Susan G. Komen.
Amy and her husband Dan live in Columbia with their daughter, Hannah and son, Bennett.
Reid Palmieri
Reid Palmieri
A native of the New York lacrosse hotbed of Somers, Reid Palmieri has spent his life dedicated to the sport. A former All-Section, All-League goalie and Team MVP for Somers High School, Reid attended Ithaca College, where he played Goalie and changed position to LSM and led the team as a senior captain. He currently plays in the Maryland Lacrosse League (MDLL Masters) on Blarney Lacrosse.
Now based in Howard County, Reid is deeply committed to developing the next generation of players. He balances a professional career at AWS with extensive coaching roles for both boys and girls within the HCLax and HOCO organizations. Reid also serves on the HCLax Board, helping shape the future of the sport he loves. For Reid, lacrosse is a family affair—he and his three children are all active members of the Howard County lacrosse community.
