CODE OF CONDUCT

HoCo continues to be known as a club where good sportsmanship is mandatory for coaches, athletes, spectators, and parents.

Code of Conduct

Spectators at all times must be role models for good sportsmanship. Ridiculing the play of our athletes, decision making of our coaching staff or a bad call by an official will not be tolerated. HoCo Parents/Spectators are here to provide positive support, and encouragement for athletes and must adhere to our code of ethics.

Encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, or associated sports event.

Treat officials with respect, regardless of their decision.

Respect opposing players, spectators, and coaches.

Any parent/spectator removed from any HoCo event by coaches, officials or tournament staff must leave the site immediately. Parents who are removed from a game are not allowed at the site on the day or night of the succeeding contest. The head coach must inform the director of the situation as soon as possible. The director will then work with the advisory board to decide if and when this parent/spectator can return to the sidelines.

We understand that parents will, at times, disagree with a coach. If that happens, the following expectations are to be followed.
