Stephanie Lawrence
Stephanie is a Glenelg High School graduate where she played soccer, basketball and lacrosse. During her high school career, she earned 11 varsity letters and 3 State Titles. Stephanie continued her lacrosse career at Towson University and played all 4 years as a midfielder. In 2004, she served as team captain during her senior year. Stephanie was awarded the Student Athlete Award in 2003 and 2004. She was named All CAA Second Team in 2004 as well as Towson University’s 2004 Strength and Conditioning Female Athlete of the Year. Stephanie continues to hold an NCAA record as tied at second for the fastest goal at the start of the game.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In the spring of 2005, Stephanie served as an assistant coach for Glenelg Girl’s Varsity Lacrosse Team, where the school won its first ever Girl’s Lacrosse State Title. She returned to Towson University to earn her master’s degree in 2007. For the past 18 years, Stephanie has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist on the Stroke Unit at The University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute.
Stephanie currently resides in Mt Airy with her husband Evan and children, Caroline and Charlie. She has remained involved in youth sports, coaching both basketball and lacrosse. In Spring 2025, she served as the Head Coach for the Middle School Girl’s South Carroll Youth Lacrosse team.
