Courtney Greer
Courtney Greer
Courtney grew up in Howard County and graduated from Mount Hebron High School, where she was a multi-sport athlete in lacrosse and basketball. She earned All-County and All-Met honors on the lacrosse field, recognized by The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post. Her playing career took her to James Madison University and then to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she competed as part of ACC Championship–winning teams and advanced to the Final Four.
Courtney has coached at multiple levels, including Mount Hebron High School (JV) and Archbishop Spalding (Varsity). She is currently entering her third season as an assistant coach for the Glenelg Country School Varsity Girls team, where she focuses on building confidence, strong habits, and intentional play. Courtney holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Courtney is currently pursuing certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and is passionate about supporting athletes’ physical, mental, and emotional development beyond the field. She lives locally with her husband and three children.
Kate Sites
Kate Sites
Kate Sites is a Glenelg Country School graduate, where she was a multi-sport athlete, competing in lacrosse, field hockey, and indoor track. She was an IAAM B Conference champion in the 4x400m, 4x200m, 500m, and 300m. Kate played club lacrosse for Maryland United and played on the DC Metro Team. She went on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Maryland, where she was a member of the program for six years. Kate has coached with Shooting Stars for the past four years and previously served as an assistant coach for the Hero’s 2028 team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Security and Terrorism Studies.

Earned first team IWLCA All-Region and first team All-Patriot League accolades after totaling 45 points (32 G, 13 A), 14 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers in 10 games before her season was cut short due to injury … led Patriot League in goals and was ranked fourth nationally in shot percentage (.667) at the time of her injury … scored multiple goals in all 10 appearances, and will take a 50-game point and 48-game goal scoring streak into her graduate season in 2022 … totaled seven points (5 G, 2 A) and two caused turnovers in 12-goal win at Villanova (3/6) … had six points, including a career-high four assists, in home win over Georgetown (3/10) … matched season-best with five goals as part of a six-point performance in victory over previously-unbeaten Drexel (3/14) … caused a career-high four turnovers and matched a career best with eight points (4 G, 4 A) in road win at Bucknell … enters the 2022 season with 187 points (134 G, 53 A), 94 ground balls and 34 caused turnovers in 57 career appearances.
- Was an 11-time letterwinner at Garrison Forest School in Baltimore County, picking up four each in basketball and lacrosse and three in field hockey
- Scored 55 goals and had 10 assists as lacrosse senior in 2017, a year in which she also picked up 100 ground balls and controlled 75 draws
- Had 50 goals and 22 assists to go with 57 draws and 52 ground balls in 2016
- Finished 2015 with 32 goals, 14 assists, 45 draw controls and 44 ground balls
- Earned Under Armour All-America recognition in 2017
- Was a three-time IAAM All-Conference honoree from 2015-17
- Garnered Baltimore Sun All-Metro honors in 2016 and 2017
- Named an Academic All-American in 2016
- Picked up IAAM All-Conference honors in basketball in 2016 and 2017
- Was an All-Conference honoree in field hockey, and grabbed All-Mid-Atlantic recognition, too, in 2016
- Played club lacrosse for M&D Lacrosse Club
- Received high honor roll recognition all four years
