Stephanie Tranter
Stephanie Tranter is an Ellicott City native and graduate of Mt. Hebron High School where she was a three sport athlete.
At Mt. Hebron High School, Stephanie was an All-American midfielder who played a key role on the nation’s top team, contributing to four consecutive Maryland state championships, three national high school titles and three undefeated seasons. A three-time First Team All-Howard County and two-time All-Metro selection, she was selected as Howard County player of the year as a junior.
She continued her lacrosse career at the University of North Carolina, where she became a four-year letterwinner, two-time Honorable Mention All-American, and 2005 team captain. Leading the team in points, she earned ACC All-Tournament Team honors in 2006 and helped guide the Tar Heels to four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
Stephanie has three girls, Kinley (HoCo 2034), Reese (HoCo 2036) and Charlie.
Jessica (Jess) Carmichael
Jessica (Jess) Carmichael
Jess first picked up a stick in 4th grade. She began her club career with Check-hers and was recruited with Rebels Club Lacrosse. She graduated from South Carroll high school in 2021 and was a tri-sport athlete. In 2019, Jess competed in the 2A State Championship with the Caveliers and won the state championship. She went on to play Division II Lacrosse at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach Florida where she studied to major in Psychology and minor in Biology. Jess started and played as a defensive midfielder for the Sailfish till her junior year when she had a career ending back injury.
Jess has since moved back to Maryland and currently resides in Sykesville. She is looking to pursue her passion for the love of the game and pass it down to the younger generation.
